Answer:

The forces acting on the rope is balanced.

Explanation:

  • Since the rope is not moving at all,it has zero acceleration and that is why has zero velocity.

Now since, a = 0

=> F = ma

=> F = 0

Therefore,net force on the rope is zero. This can only happen when  F_{right}\:=\:F_{left}

  • So, force on the rope by either side is equal and hence,balanced force is acting.

  • Balanced force :- when net force on the system is zero,it is said to have under balanced forces.In this case,body moves with constant velocity as there is no acceleration.

  • Unbalanced force :- When net force on the system is not zero,the forces are unbalanced force and in this case body has net acceleration in the direction of resultant force.
