in biology the dominant genes are those traits or genes which are most visible or are expressed in every generation for eg - the tallness is a trait which is been found and is visible in every generation.

recessive genes are those genes which are found but are not visible or expressed in every generation. for eg- the dwarfness is the trait which the pea plant possess but was only visible in F2 generation.

hope it helps.. cheers!!!

Answer:

character- result of gene

trait- result of allele

character- any indentifiable and inheritable feature

trait- alternative form of character

allele- alternative form of gene

dominance and recessiveness can only be shown by the features (trait) thus it is only for allele and not for chromosome.

as no of chromosome alone not distinguish the features of species

Explanation:

only according to my point of understanding.

but for sure.
