Answer:

Solutions may also conduct electricity if they contain dissolved ions, with conductivity increasing as ion concentration increases

For a substance to conduct electricity, it must have charge particles like electrons and ions within it that are able to move freely throughout it. In its solid state, sodium chloride (like many other ionic compounds) have fixed ions. This therefore means that the ions cannot move freely, a condition for the conduction of electricity. However, when it is in its molten state, the ions are free to move around, thus making them free to conduct electricity

Answer

Sodium chloride solution will conduct the most electricity pure water will conduct electricity poorly while solid sodium chloride will not conduct electricity at all

Explanation:

Solid sodium chloride will not conduct electricity because as an ionic solid it's ions are tightly packed in the solid state while when dissolved in water the ions are free to move about thereby conducting electricity
