Explanation:

The circulatory system consists of heart, blood vessels, blood capillaries, blood and blood cells. Through blood various nutrients like glucose, amino acids are transported to the body tissues. Oxygen is also transported to the cells either in dissolved state or by the RBCs. Carbon dioxide is also transported by the blood from the tissues to the lungs. Other substances transported by blood include metabolic waste like urea, PAH etc.
