Answer:

(i) r = 31.5 & (ii) d = 42cm

Step-by-step explanation:

(i) circumference = 2 pi r

diameter = d= 2r

ATQ,

Circumference = diameter + 135

=> 2 pi r = 2r +135

=>2 x 22/7 x r = 2r + 135

=> 44/7 x r = 2r + 135

=>44/7 x r -2r = 135

=> (44r - 14r)/7 = 135

=> 30r = 135 x 7

=> r = 945/ 30

=> r = 31.5 cm

(ii) circumference = 2 pi r

d = 2r

ATQ,

=>Circumference = radius + 111

=> 2 pi r = r + 111

=> 2 x 22/7 x r = r + 111

=> 44/7 x r - r = 111

=> (44r- 7r)/7 = 111

=> 37r = 111 x 7

=> r = 777/37

=> r = 21cm

diameter (d) = 2r = 2 x 21 = 42cm

here is your answer.

hope it helps
