The circumference of a circle exceeds its diameter by 277 CM. Find its diameter

Let the diameter= x

Cirumference=x + 277cm--------(1)

as the circumference = 2♊r-------(2)

where .♊= 3.14

So from equation (1) and (2)

2 × 3.14r = x + 277cm------(3)

as diameter is double of radius so

x=2r-----(4)

putting value in (3)

6.28r=2r + 227

r = 53cm

x = 2r = 2 × 53 = 106cm Answer
