The circumference of a circle exceeds its diameter by 30cm. Find the radius of the circle

Diameter = 30cm

Circumference of a circle = 2πr

D + 30cm = 2πr

But, diameter = 2r

Therefore, 2πr = 2r + 30

2r(π-1) = 30

r(( \frac{22}{7} - 1) = 15

r =  15 \times \frac{7}{15}

r = 7cm.
