Hi ,

Let C are r are circumference and radius of

the circle ,

C = r + 111 ( given )

we know that ,

C = 2πr

r + 111 = 2 × 22/7 × r

111 = 44r/7 - r

111 = ( 44r - 7r ) /7

111 = 37r/7

111 × ( 7/37 ) = r

3 × 7 = r

Therefore ,

r = 21 cm

diameter = d = 2r


d = 2 × 21

d = 42 cm
