Let the radius of the circle is r cm

Perimeter of a circle =2πr=132

⇒2×7/22×r=132

⇒r=22×21/32×7

⇒r=21 cm

Area of the circle =πr2

⇒=7/22×21×21

⇒=1386 cm2

Answer:

Area of circle is 1386.05  {m}^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given -

Circumference of circle is 132 m

To find -

The area of circle

Solution -

As we know that,

Circumference of circle = 2 \times pi \times r

Where, r is the radius of circle.

Put the given values in these formula we get

132 = 2\pi \times r

 \frac{132}{2\pi}  = r

 \frac{66}{\pi}  = r

The value of π is 3.14 .

 \frac{66}{3.14}  = r

r = 21.01

So,

Radius (r) is 21.01 m.

Area of circle = \pi {r}^{2}

Put the value of r we get

Area of circle = \pi \times  {21.01}^{2}

Square means multiply the given values with itself twice.

 {21.01}^{2}  = 21.01 \times 21.01 = 441.42

Square of 21.01 is 441.42

Area of circle = \pi \times 441.42

The value of π is 3.14.

Area of circle = 3.14 \times 441.42

Area of circle = 1386.05

Hence,

Area of circle is 1386.05  {m}^{2}
