the circumference of a circle is 22 M find its diameter and area​

To find : i) diameter of circle

             ii) area of circle

Given : circumference of circle = $22m$

Solution :

• As we know circumference of circle is given by -

               $2$π$r$

• Therefore, as per give data we have ,

            circumference =    $2$π$r$

            $22$ $= 2 \times 3.14\times r$

              $r = \frac{22}{6.28}$

              $r = 3.50m$

• Since ,  $diameter = 2r$

       then, $d = 2 \times 3.50$

                    $= 7m$

• Area of circle = π$r^{2}$

                               $= 3.14\times 3.50$

                               $= 10.99 m^{2}$

   Hence , diameter of circle is $7m$ and area of circle is $10.99m^{2}$.
