The circumference of a circle is 26.4 cm.Find the diameter.

ANSWER :

Circumference = 2πr = 26.4

πr = 26.4/2 = 13.2

r = (13.2/22) × 7

r = 0.6 × 7 = 4.2

Therefore radius of the circle is 4.2 cm

Diameter = 2r = 2×4.2 = 8.4 cm

Diameter of the circle is 8.4 cm
