Circumference of the circle = 31.4 cm

2πr = 31.4 cm

2 × 3.14 × r = 31.4 cm

r = (31.4)/(2×3.14)

r = 10 × 2

r = 20cm ans.

So, Radius of the circle is 20cm.

Now,

Area of the circle = πr²

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 3.14 × (20)²

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 3.14 × 400

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 1256 cm² ans.

So, Area of the circle is 1256 cm² ans.
