Now we use formula of circumference of circle.

⟹ circumference of circle = 2 * π * r

{ according to given }

⟹ 3140 = 2 * 22/7 * r

⟹ 3140 * 7/22 = 2 * r

⟹ 21980/22 = 2 * r

⟹ 10990/11 = 2 * r i.e.

⟹ r = 10990/11 * 1/2

⟹ r = 10990/22

⟹ r = 5494/11

⟹ r = 499.545454 cm

Now, by formula of area of circle

area of circle

⟹ area of circle = π * r²

⟹ area of circle = 22/7 * (499.545454)²
