Answer:

L = r θ (Θ in radians)

θ = 30⁰ = π/6

circumference c = πd = 36 cm

therefore d = 36/π

=> 36*7/22

=> 252/22

=> 128/11 cm

r = d/2 = 128/22 = 64/11 cm

therefore L = 64/11 × π/6

=> 64/11 × 22/42

=> 3.05 cm

Answer: length of arc = 3 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Circumference of circle = 2πr

2πr = 36 cm

So, radius comes out to be, r = 18/π cm

Arc makes an angle of π/6 = 30° at the centre of the circle.

And we also got formula of arc, I.e.

θ = L/r _____(I)

Where θ = angle made by arc at the centre.

L = length of arc & r = radius.

So, from (I)

L = θ(r)

L = π/6(18/π)

L = 18/6

Hence, length of arc, L = 3 cm

Thanks!

I hope it will be helpful.

Good LucK!
