Answer: Given: Circumference of a circle = 2πr = 39.6 cm

2 x 22/7r= 39.6

r=39.6x7/44

r=6.3 cm

Area of cirlce= πr square

22/7 x 6.3 x 6.3

=124.74 sq.cm

Answer:

The area is found to be 124.6266 cm^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

The circumference of any given circle with radius as r, can be calculated using the following given formula:

2πr = 39.6 cm

Therefore we know, π = 3.14

⇒ 2×3.14 × r = 39.6

⇒ 6.28 × r = 39.6

⇒ r = \frac{39.6}{6.28}

⇒ r = 6.3

Therefore we have radius = 6.3 cm

Now we have area = πr^{2}

∴Area = π (6.3)^{2}

⇒ Area = 3.14 × 39.69

⇒Area = 124.6266 cm^{2}

Hence area = 124.6266cm^{2}
