Given,

  • Circumference of circle = 44 cm

To find,

  • Area of circle = ?

Formulas to be used here,

  • Circumference of circle = 2πr
  • Area of circle = πr²

Solution,

→ Circumference of circle = 2πr

→ 44 cm = 2πr

→ 44/2 cm = πr

→ 22 = πr

→ r = 22×22/7 (22 will be cancelled with 22)

→ r = 7

★ Radius = 7

★ Now,we will find area of circle.

→ Area of circle = πr²

→ Area of circle = 22/7×(7)² = 22/7×49

→ Area of circle = 154 cm²

★ Area of circle = 154 cm²

\huge\underline\textbf{Formulas}

★ Circumference of circle = 2πr

★ Area of circle = πr²

★ Radius of circle = Diameter/2

Thank You!!
