As we know,
Circumference of circle = 2*22/7 * r
i.e. 44 m.

2*22/7 *r = 44
=> 44r/7 = 44
=> r = 7 .
Now, Area of circle = 22/7 * r*r
= 22/7 * 7*7
= 154 sq.units

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that

Circumference of circle is 44 meters

To find area of the circle

Solution

circumference \: of \: circle = 2\pi \times r

r is radius of circle hence

44 = 2\pi \times r \\ r =  \frac{44}{2\pi}  \\  = 7meter

area \: of \: circle = \pi {r}^{2}

 = \pi \times  {7}^{2}  \\  = 153.86 {m}^{2}

hence area of circle is 153.86 m sq.
