GIVEN :-

  • The circumference of circle is 62.8 cm.
  • π = 3.14.

TO FIND :-

  • The radius of the circle.

SOLUTION :-

As we know that circumference or perimeter of circle is given by,

circumference of circle = 2πr.

➟ 62.8 = 2 × 3.14 × r

➟ 62.8 = 6.28 × r

➟ r = 62.8/6.28

r = 10 cm.

Hence the radius of circle is 10 cm.

 \rule{250}{3}

As we know that circumference or perimeter of circle is given by,

circumference of circle = πd.

⇻ 62.8 = 3.14 × d

⇻ d = 62.8/3.14

d = 20 cm.

Finding Radius of the circle,

➙ r = d/2

➙ r = 20/2

r = 10 cm.

Hence the radius of circle is 10 cm.
