Hello, Buddy!!

Given:-

  • Circumference of a Circle = 440m.
  • Cost of levelling per sq.m(m²) = ₹5.

To Find:-

  • Total cost of levelling of the circular field.

Required Solution:-

Let,

Radius be r

2\pi{r} = 440 \\ \frac{22}{7} r = \cancel{\frac{440}{2}} \\ r = {\cancel{220}} \times \frac{7}{\cancel{22}} \\ r = 10 \times 7 \\ r= 70

  • Radius of Circle ☞ 70m.

{\pi} ({r})^{2} \\ \frac{22}{7} \times {(70)}^{2} \\ \frac{22}{\cancel{7}} \times \cancel{70} \times 70 \\ 22 \times 10 \times 70 \\ 220 \times 70 \\ 15400

  • Area of Circle ☞ 15400m²

15400 \times 5 \\ 77000

  • Total Cost of Levelling ➪ ₹77000.

Formulas Used:-

  • Circumference of the Circle is 2πr
  • Area of Circle is πr²
