♠ Circumference of the trunk = 44 cm

But, Circumference of any circle = \sf{2 \pi r}

\sf{=⟩ 2 \pi r = 44}

\sf{=⟩ 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r = 44}

\sf{=⟩ r = 44 \times \frac{7}{22} \times \frac{1}{2}}

\sf{=⟩ r = 7 \: cm}

♠ So, radius of the trunk = 7 cm

And, height of the trunk = 5 cm

\sf{=⟩ Volume = \pi {r}^{2} h}

\sf{=⟩ V = \frac{22}{7} \times 7 \times 7 \times 5}

\sf{=⟩ V = 22 \times 7 \times 5}

\sf{=⟩ V = 770\: {cm}^{3}}

♥ •°• The volume of timber is 770 cm³. ♥
