Sólution:-

  • Given:

➤Circumference=176cm

➤Height (h)=15cm

  • Therefore:

➵2\pi r = 176

➵2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times r = 176

➵ \frac{44}{7}  \times r = 176

➵r = 176 \times   \frac{7}{44}

➵r = 28cm

➤Radius (r) =28cm

  • Now:

We know,curved surface area of cylinder=2πrh u²

  • Therefore:

Curved surface area of this cylinder=

⇥2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 28 \times 15 {cm}^{2}

⇥2640 {cm}^{2}

  • Hence curved surface area is 2640cm²
