hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

circumference of the circle = 132m

therefore 2πr = 132m

==> 2 × 22/7 × r = 132m

==> 44/7 × r = 132m

==> r = 132/1 × 7/44

==> r = 3 × 7

==> r = 21m

VERIFICATION :-

circumference of the circle = 2πr

= 2 × 22/7 × 21

= 44 × 3

= 132m

hence verified.

thus the radius of the circle is 21m.

now, area of the circle = πr²

= 22/7 × 21 × 21

= 22 × 3 × 21

= 1386m²

hope this helps..!!

Given:

  • Circumference of the circle = 132 m

To Find:

  • The area of the circle.

Solution:

  • The area of the circle is given by, πr^2 → (1)
  • We first need to find the radius of the circle and then find the area.
  • We have, the circumference of the circle = 132 m
  • ⇒ 2πr = 132
  • ⇒ 2*22/7*r = 132
  • ⇒ r = \frac{132*7}{22*2}  = \frac{924}{44} =  21
  • r = 21 cm
  • Substitute the value of r in equation (1) to find the area.
  • Area of the circle = 22/7*(21^2) = 1386 cm^2

∴ The area of the circle = 1386 cm^2
