Circumference= 2π r = 440 cm,

Height = h= 5 cm,

So, lateral area = 2π r* h ,

= circumference* height,

= 440*5,

= 2200 cm².

NOW, THAT'S THE CORRECT ANSWER.

Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

LSA = 2200 cm^2

● Explaination -

Let r & h be radius and height of cylinder.

Circumference = 2πr

440 = 2 × 22/7 × r

r = 440 × 7 / 44

r = 70 cm

Lateral surface area of cylinder is -

LSA = 2πrh

LSA = 440 × 5

LSA = 2200 cm^2

Therefore, lateral surface area of cylinder is 2200 cm^2.

Thanks dear...
