The circumference of the base of a cone is 62 cm and its height is 9

cm. Find its volume.(π = 3.14)​

FINAL ANSWER:

904.69 cm³

GIVEN:

circumference is 62 cm

height is 9

using π=3.14

TO FIND:

its volume

FORMULA USED:

circumference = 2πr

volume of cone = 1/3πr²h

SOLUTION:

[∵first we have to find radius]

62=2×π×r

62=2×3.14×r

62=6.28×r

r=\frac{62}{6.28}

r=9.8 cm

[∵ as we got radius so now let's find volume]

V=\frac{1}{3}*3.14*9.8*9.8*9      [ here 3 cancels 9 remaining 3 ]

=3.14 × 9.8 × 9.8 ×3

=904.69 cm³
