Given : Circumference of a cylinder =2πrh=44cm and  height(h)=20cm 

Lateral surface area of a cylinder =2πrh

                                                        = circumference of the base × height of the cylinder

                                                        =44×20=880cm2

∴ Lateral surface area of a cylinder is 880sq.cm.
