Given:

  • The circumference of the base of the cylinder is 132 cm
  • The height of the cylinder is 25 cm

We can get the radius of the base of the cylinder can be obtained from the formula of circumference of the cylinder -

So,

Circumference of the cylinder is 2πr = 132

⇒ 44/7 r = 132

⇒ r = 132 * 7/44

⇒ r = 3 * 7

⇒ r = 21 cm

Now

Given that Height of the cylinder = h = 25

The formula for finding the volume of the cylinder is,

= πr²h unit cube

= 22/7 * 21 * 21 * 25

= 34650 cm cube

1cm cube can hold 1 ml

So,

The cylinder of volume 34650 cm cube can hold

= 34650 ml

Now

34650 ml = 34650/1000 = 34.65L

hence,

The cylinder can hold 34.65 L

Given ,

The circumference of the base of a cylinder vessel is 132cm and its height is 25 cm

We know that , the circumference of circle is given by

 \boxed{ \tt{Circumference = 2\pi r}}

Thus ,

132 = 2 × 22/7 × r

132 = 44/7 × r

3 = 1/7 × r

r = 21 cm

Now , the volume of cylinder is given by

 \boxed{ \tt{Volume = \pi {(r)}^{2}h }}

Thus ,

Volume = 22/7 × 21 × 21 × 15

Volume = 22 × 3 × 21 × 15

Volume = 66 × 525

Volume = 34650 cm³

Since , 1000 cm³ = 1 litre

Volume = 34650/1000 = 34.65 litre

Hence , the cylinder can hold 34.65 litre of water
