Answer:

the radius of the cylinder and its volume is 21.02cm and 34702cm³ respectively

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, The circumference of the base of a cylindrical vessel is 132 cm and its height is 25 cm.

∴ The base of cylindrical vessel is circular

radius of cylindrical vessel is r

circumference (cylindrical vessel) = 2πr

        132              =      2πr

         r                  =      132/(2π)

         r                  =       21.02cm

∵ The radius of the cylinder is 21.02cm

Now, volume (cylindrical vessel) = ?

h = 25cm      ,      r = 21.02cm

volume (cylindrical vessel)  =  πr²h

                                             =  π * (21.02)² * 25

                                             =  π * (441.8404) * 25

                                             =  π * (11046.01)

                                             =  34702.0639

                                             ≈ 34702 cm³

Given :

  • Circumference of base of Cylinder is 132 cm .
  • Height of Cylinder is 25 cm .

To Find :

  • Radius and Volume of Cylinder .

Solution :

Firstly we will find Radius :

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Circumference\:of\:Circle=2\pi{r}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{132=2\times\dfrac{22}{7}\times{r}}

\longmapsto\tt{132\times{7}=44r}

\longmapsto\tt{924=44r}

\longmapsto\tt{r=\cancel\dfrac{924}{44}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{r=21\:cm}

So , The Radius of Cylinder is 21 cm ....

Now ,

\longmapsto\tt{Radius=21\:cm}

\longmapsto\tt{Height=25\:cm}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Volume\:of\:Cylinder=\pi{{r}^{2}h}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{\dfrac{22}{{\cancel{7}}}\times{{\cancel{21}}}\times{21}\times{25}}

\longmapsto\tt{22\times{3}\times{21}\times{25}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{34650\:{cm}^{3}}

So , The Volume of Cylinder is 34650 cm³ ...
