The circumference of the Base of a right circular cylinder is 176 cm. if the height of the cylinder is 1m, find the lateral surface area of the cylinder.

Circumference of the base = 176

Therefore, radius = 176 = 2 * pie * r

                               = 2r = 176 * 7 / 22

                               = r = 176 * 7 / 44

                               = r = 28

Therefore, radius = 28

So, lateral surface area = 2 * 22/7 * 28 * 100

                                         =  17600

Lateral surface area = 17600 cm

                                    = 1.76 meter
