Curved surface area = circumference x height

Find the curved surface area:

Curved Surface Area = 440 x 35 = 15400 cm²

Answer: 15400 cm²

If the answer needs to be in m²:

1 m = 100 cm

1 m² = (100 cm)² = 10000 cm²

Convert cm² to m²:

15400 cm² = 15400  ÷ 10000 = 1.54 m²

Answer: The curved surface area is 1.53 m²

 <H3> Given :-)

→ Circumference of circle ( base ) = 440 cm.

→ Height of cylinder = 35 cm.

=> Curved Surface Area of cylinder = 2πrh.

= 2πr × h.
[ 2πr = circumference ; h = height ].

= 140 × 35.

 \huge \boxed{= 15400 \: {cm}^{2} .}
