Answer:

Radius = R

Circumference = C = 62.8

Pie = 3.4

C = 2\pi R = 2 X 3.4 X R\\62.8 = 6.8 R\\\\R = 9.23 UNITS

C = 2 X pie X R

The given data in the question are as below

The circumference of the circle is 62.8 cm.

Value of \pi =3.4

We have to find the radius of the circle

As we know that ,

Circumference of the circle =2\pi r

Where , r = radius of circle

So, 62.8=2\times 3.4\times r

Dividing 62.8 by 2 and 3.4 it will get

          r = \frac{62.8}{2\times 3.4}

By multiplying 2 by 3.4 we get,

          r=\frac{62.8}{6.8}

Dividing 62.8 by 6.8   we get,

          r=9.2352 cm

Therefore, Radius of the circle is equal to 9.2352 cm.
