The number of revolutions can be made by wheel to cover the distance 1.5 km is 1500

Given:

The circumference of the wheel of a truck is 1 meter

To find:

Number of revolutions must be made by wheel to cover the distance 1.5 meter

Solutions:

Given that circumference of wheel is 1 meter

Here the distance can covered by wheel

= number of revolutions × circumference of wheel

Let x be the number of revolutions made by wheel to cover 1.5 km

⇒ 1.5 km = x (1 meter)

⇒ 1500 meter = x meter  [ ∵ 1 km = 1000 meters  ]

⇒ x = 1500

The number of revolutions need to cover the distance 1.5 km is 1500
