Then, 2πX = 2 x 22/7 x X = 88

44X / 7 = 88

X = 88 x 7/ 44

X = 14 cm


2πY = 66

2 x 22/7 x Y = 66

44/7 x Y = 66

Y = 66 x 7/44

Y = 21/2 = 10.5 cm

Therefore, the width of the ring is X - Y

= 14 - 10.5  = 3.5 cm
