QUESTION :-

\huge\bold\pink\bigstarThe circumference of two concentric circles are 121 cm and 154 cm. Calculate the difference between their radii.

ANSWER:-

\huge\bold\red\rightarrow let the radius of smaller circle be r1 & that it the larger circle be r2.

\huge\bold\red\rightarrow circumference of the smaller circle ,C1=121cm.

THEREFORE,

\huge\bold\red\rightarrow 2πr1=121cm.

\huge\bold\red\rightarrow Circumference of larger circle, c2 = 154 cm

\huge\bold\red\rightarrow 2 πr2 = 154

\huge\bold\red\rightarrow Subtracting (1) from (2) , we get:

\huge\bold\red\rightarrow 2 x 22/7(r2 - r1) = 154 - 121

\huge\bold\red\rightarrow .°.(r2-r1)=33×7/2×22

\huge\bold\red\rightarrow .°.(r2-r2)=3×7/2×2

\huge\bold\red\rightarrow .°.(r2-r1)=21/4.
