solution.

We know that circumference of circle= 2pi r

=> 2* 22/7* r= 88

=> 44/7* r= 88

=> r= 14cm

now, in second circle.

=> 2* 22/7* r= 66

=> 2/7* r= 3

=> r= 21/2= 10.5cm

Now, width of ring

= 14 - 10.5

= 3.5cm

Let R = radius of outer circle
circumference of outer circle = 88 cm

⇒2πR = 88

⇒R =

88 × 7

44

 = 14 cm

Let r = radius of inner circle
circumference of inner circle = 66 cm

⇒2πr = 66

⇒r =

66 × 7

 2 × 22

 = 10. 5 cm

width of ring = R - r = 14 - 10. 5 = 3.5 cm
