Answer: (11/π) cm  ≅ 3.5 cm

Step-by-step explanation: Formula for circumference is, 2πR where R is the radius of circle

Using this formula, 2πR₁ = 88 cm , R₁= (44/π) cm

Similarly, 2πR₂ = 66 cm , R₂ = (33/π) cm

Since, the circle are concentric, Width = R₁ - R₂ =(44-33)/π = (11/π) cm ≅ 3.5 cm

Circumference of 1st circle = 88cm
Circumference of 2nd circle =66cm
= 2pir1 = 88cm
=44/7 ×r1 =88
=r1 = 7/44×88
r1 =14cm
2pir2 = 66cm
= 44/7 ×r2 = 66cm
=r2 = 7/44×66
=r2 = 10.5 cm
So, width = 14-10.5 cm= 3.5cm
