Given :

Circumference of a circular park = 176 m

Find : Area of the park.

Solution :

We know that,

Circumference of circle = 2πr

Put the known values in above formula

→ 176 = 2 × \dfrac{22}{7} × r

→ 176 = \dfrac{44}{7} × r

\dfrac{176\:\times\:7}{44} = r

\dfrac{1232}{44} = r

r = 28 m

Now,

Area of circle = πr²

Put the known values in above formula

\dfrac{22}{7} × (28)²

\dfrac{22}{7} × 784

→ 22 × 112

→ 2464 m²

Area of park is 2464 m².

Answer:

Given :

Circumference of a circular park = 176 m

Find : Area of the park.

Solution :

We know that,

• Circumference of circle = 2πr

Put the known values in above formula

→ 176 = 2 × \dfrac{22}{7}722 × r

→ 176 = \dfrac{44}{7}744 × r

→ \dfrac{176\:\times\:7}{44}44176×7 = r

→ \dfrac{1232}{44}441232 = r

→ r = 28 m

Now,

• Area of circle = πr²

Put the known values in above formula

→ \dfrac{22}{7}722 × (28)²

→ \dfrac{22}{7}722 × 784

→ 22 × 112

→ 2464 m²

∴ Area of park is 2464 m².
