The city of Delhi, capital of India, is a wonderful amalgamation of tradition and modernity. With
places like Red Fort and Jama Masjid on one hand, India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan on the other
hand, it is a city worth visiting. You happened to go around the city last month. Write a description of the city in 100-150 words.​

Delhi is my city. This is the capital of India. This is a big and beautiful city. It is situated on the right side of the river Jamuna.

Every kind of people live here. It has been divided into New Delhi and Old Delhi. It is famous for many things. Jama Masjid, Gurudwara Sis Ganj and Birla Temple are its important holy places!

We have business centers like Chandni Chowk, Sardar Bazar, Connaught Place and Jamal Khan Market.

Vijay Ghat, Shanti Van and Rajghat are; The most important place in Delhi. We find the Parliament House, the Red Fort, the old fort and Quttha Tower. Many foreigners, when they come to Delhi, go to these places. Traffic is very heavy. There are many tall buildings. There are schools, colleges, banks, offices, hotels, factories, markets, parks and gardens.

The city is expanding day by day. I love my city very much

People from all walks of life, different cities of India live together in harmony in Delhi.
