civil disobedience movement :

1) dealt with the  breaking of the laws

2) violation of salt law was the major movement by Gandhi

3) the main aim of this movement was to attain purna swaraj

non cooperation movement :

1) deal with not cooperating with the British and not following the laws

2) peaceful demonstrations and foreign shops were picketed

3) the main was to unify the Hindus and the Muslims
