Poor peasants

The poor peasants had their own problems they were not just interested in lowering the revenue but also demanded remission of rent

Business classes

The business class wanted protection against imports of foreign goods they wanted to free the business from colonial restrictions

Women

Women participated in large numbers in CDM they participated in protest Matches and many but put to jail by the police moved by Gandhiji call they begin to see service to the nation as a sacred duty of women
