ANSWER

Class width is the number of points in the class interval.

class width = upper limit − lower limit

The limits are not continuous, hence they are taken as average of upper limit of preceding class and lower limit of succeeding class.

Upper limit for second class =

2

200+201

=200.5

Lower limit for second class =

2

100+101

=100.5

Class width =200.5−100.5=100
