The client requires time stamping every two minutes. You need to transcribe the 10-20 minute part of the audio. Where do you start time stamping?

Time stamping format used while transcribing audio files is:
[00:00:00]
where [hour:minute:second]
so 10th minute is [00:10:00]
If the 10 - 20 minute part of an audio has to be transcribed stamping should be started at [00:10:00]
If a client requests time stamping every two minutes the next timestamp would be [00:12:00]

In transcription timestamps are markers which indicate when the adjacent text was spoken. They are in the format [HH:MM:SS]. HH are hours, MM are minutes, and SS are seconds from the beginning of the video or audio file.
There are different kinds of timestamps like periodic timestamps, paragraph timestamps, sentence timestamps and speaker timestamps.
Periodic timestamps appear at a consistent frequency. They can appear for every 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 2 minutes.

Timestamping: A sequence of encoded information identifying the occurrence of a certain event is called as timestamping. It is usually the date and time of day and sometimes accurate to fraction of a second.

For timestamping audio files,

The format to be used is,

[00:00:00]

where,

[Hour:Minute:Second]

There are different types of timestamps. They are,

  • Periodic timestamps
  • Paragraph timestamps
  • Sentence timestamps
  • Speaker timestamps

The client requires time stamping every two minutes, Periodic timestamps can be used with the period set to be 2 minutes.

Timestamping can be started at [00:00:00] and it will look like [00:02:00], [00:04:00] till the end of the audio [00:10:00] or [00:20:00]
