The cloth required to make a shirt of school uniform for each boy is 1m80cm.How many shirts can tailor stich using 40m of cloth?How much cloth is left?

1m80cm=180 cm and 40m=4000 cm
numbrr of shirts that can be madr will be 4000÷180=22.2
so ur answer will be regarded as 22.

Divide total cloth by cloth required per shirt ie. 4000cm/180cm=200/9 or q=22(therefore 22 shirts can be made) and r=2(therefore 2m or cloth will be left).
