You may note here a normal eye can see objects clearly that are between 25 cm and infinity. Sometimes, the crystalline lens of people at old age becomes milky and cloudy. This condition is called cataract. Thiscauses partial or complete loss of vision.

It shows that the person is suffering from cataract.

Cataract is the condition when the old cells even after dying stick to the capsule at the time when the clouding over the lens takes place.

This is the reason behind the formation of clouding blurred images.

They often keep on developing slowly and tend to affect both the eyes if not treated properly.

The only way to cure a cataract is through surgery.
