the mid point formula is

p(x,y) = x1 +x2 / 2 , y1 + y2 /2

then the answer will be

3-7/2 , 4+2/2

-4/2 = -2 and 6/2 = 3

p(x,y) = (-2,3)

hope this answer will help you

Suppose L(3,4) and M (-7,2)

and the .midpoint be p(x,y)

By mid point formula

x=(x1+x2)/2

x={3+(-7)}/2

x=(3-7)/2

x=-4/2

x= -2

______

also,

y=(y1+y2)/2

y=(4+2)/2

y=6/2

y=3

______

Therefore, the coordinates of midpoint joining the line L and M are p(-2,3)

Hope it helps u ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
