Given info : the coagulating value of A and B will be 2.4 × 10¯³ millimole per litre and 1.2 × 10¯² millimole per litre.

To find : Which one has higher coagulating power.

solution : coagulating value : The minimum concentration of an electrolyte which is required to cause coagulation is known as coagulating value.

coagulating value is inverse of coagulating power.

i.e., lower the coagulating value, higher is the coagulating power.

here coagulating value of A = 2.4 × 10¯³ millimole/litre

coagulating value of B = 1.2 × 10¯² millimole/litre

i.e., coagulating value of A < coagulating value of B

it means, coagulating power of A > coagulating power of B

Therefore coagulating power of A will be higher than that of B.
