The coal and iron deposits lie in dense forests. To mine these minerals, forests have to be cut down. On one hand mining is must for the development of a state, but on the other hand this leads to mass deforestation and is a severe threat to the present environmental condition.” Imagine you are the chief minister of such a state, Would you allow deforestation for the same purpose? How will you make sure that the biodiversity of your state suffers the minimum?

Answer:

no I wouldn't allow forests to be cut down but I can allow this when there are minimum trees and instead of that place the same trees would be planted to another place where there is less bio diversity this would lead to least deforestation and would also be helpful to extract minerals
