The exhaust temperature would be 127°C.

Intake temperature is the lower temperature and exhaust temperature is the higher temperature.

Given, Intake temperature(T) = -23°C  = (273-23) K =250 K    [1K = 273°C]

Let exhaust temperature be T'

We know, coefficient of performance β = T/(T' - T)

Putting β as 5/3 and T as 250K, we get:

5/3 = 250/(T' - 250)

⇒ 5 × (T' - 250) = 3 × 250

⇒ (T' - 250) = 150

⇒ T' = (250 + 150) K = 400K  = (400 - 273)°C = 127°C
