The coefficient of x^2 is 6 as when we multiply 2x^2 × 3x^2 ...no need to multiply the whole term.

(2x²-5)(4+3x²)
2x²(4+3x²)-5(4+3x²)
8x²+6x⁴-20-15x²
6x⁴-15x²+8x²-20
6x⁴-7x²-20
hence , the coefficient of x² is -7
hope this helps
