The coefticient of x and the constant term

in a linear polynomial are 5 and -3,

respectively. . Find its zero.​

Linear polynomial has the degree of 1 therefore it will be of the form ax+b.

Now, according to the question:

a = 5

b = -3

Which the polynomial becomes 0

5x -3 = 0

5x = 3

x = 3/5
