It’s due to a phenomenon called refraction, where light waves travel at a different speed through glass and/or water than the air. If you look at anything through water you get a similar effect. Objects look to be in a different location than they are and sometimes seem to be moving when they aren’t.

This is due to waves in the water which changes the distance that the light travels through the water, thereby changing the amount of refraction. If you put a fishing pole in the water, it looks like it is bent at the exact point where part of it is in the water and part of is in the air.In fact the impact is different for each colour of light in the spectrum.

Answer:

1. Light rays coming from the coin emerge out of water and change their direction due to the refraction of light

2.As we pour water in it, it becomes visible as the rays travel in a straight direction

3.Hence, as soon as the water is poured in the vessel to a certain level, coin appears.

HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU.
